OATHTAKING is done on the same date as scheduled for your registration from 8:00 am – 4:30 pm.

Registrants are required to wear their GALA UNIFORM during the registration.

NOTE: TO ALL PASSERS, please bring photocopy of NSO BIRTH CERTIFICATE with original copy, photocopy of NURSING  APPLICATION FORM ( NAF ) and photocopy of PERMANENT EXAMINATION REGISTRATION RECORD CARD ( PERRC ). 

You may get your oath form at the PRC Office or you can download it.  You may secure the requirements INSIDE the PRC OFFICE.  For those who cannot register on their scheduled date, please register starting March 16, 2012 onwards.

December 2011 Nurses Passers Oath Taking Registration

In Baguio City, 1,051 out of 3,556 or 29.56% examinees successfully passed the test. In Cabanatuan, only 315 out of 1,720 or 18.31% are passed. In La union 618 out of 2,278 or 27.13% examinees passed while in Pangasinan 691 out of 2,236 or 25.92% examinees passed. The December 2011 Nurses Licensure Examination (NLE) was given by the Board of Nursing and Professional Regulation Commission, administered in fifteen (15) testing center nationwide. 

Pursuant to PRC Resolution No. 2004-223 dated July 19, 2004, results of the examination are final and viewing of test papers or filing of request for reconsideration of failing grades after the release of the results of the examination is not allowed. 

Initial registration for new passers starts on February 22, 2012, Wednesday, at the PRC Baguio Regional Office. Only successful Baguio examinees shall register at the Regional Office pursuant to Commission Office Order No. 2009-90 dated February 19, 2009. The Order provides for a “Register Where You Took the Exam” policy. To decongest the Regional Office and save on travel expenses, the Regional Office will process initial registration outside of Baguio. New nurses are advised to take their oath where they register. In coordination with Philippine Nurses Association (PNA) local chapters and the City Government of Dagupan, the schedule of registration is as follows:

Successful examinees shall personally register in order to sign on the Registry of Professionals with the following requirements:

• Duly accompleshed Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
• 2012 Community Tax Certificate (Cedula)
• two (2) pieces passport-size pictures (colored with white background and name tag)
• one (1) piece 1"x1" picture (colored with white background and name tag);
• One910 piece documentary stamp
• Original and photocopy of NSO Birth Certificate (orginal copy for presentation purposes only)
• Initial Registration Fee of P600.00 and Annual Registration Fee of P450.00 for 2012-2015

December 2011 (NLE) Nursing Licensure Examination Results

The  December 2011 Nurse Licensure Examination (NLE) Results also known as Nursing Board Exam Results is posted here, officially released by Professional Regulation Commission (PRC). The said examination is given by the Board of Nursing in different PRC testing centers nationwide especially in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Dagupan, Davao, Iloilo, La Union, Legazpi, Lucena, Cabanatuan, Pagadian, Pampanga, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga last December 18-19, 2011.

The July 2011 nursing licensure examination results were released Saturday, August 20, 2011 and only 48 percent or 37,513 of the 78,135 who took it passed, Jomel Garcia Lapides is a graduate of the University of the Philippines – Manila, as the topnotcher. 

According to the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC). Lapides, topped the exam with a rating of 88.40 percent, edging out two graduates of the University of Santo Tomas (UST) who shared second place with a rating of 87.40 percent. The UST topnotchers are Hazel Cortes Crisostomo and Beverly Lynne Yao Ong. 

Also  PRC said “The results of examination with respect to six (6) examinees were withheld pending final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examination,"

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 22,760 out of 67,095 passed the Nurse Licensure Examination given by the Board of Nursing in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Dagupan, Davao, Iloilo, La Union, Legazpi, Lucena, Nueva Ecija, Pagadian, Pampanga, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga last December 2011.

The members of the Board of Nursing are Carmencita M. Abaquin, Chairman; Leonila A. Faire, Betty F. Merritt, Perla G. Po, Marco Antonio C. Sto.Tomas, Yolanda C. Arugay and Amelia B. Rosales, Members.

Pursuant to Section 16, of Republic Act No. 9173, “all successful candidates in the examination shall be required to take an oath of professional before the Board or any government official authorized to administer oaths prior to entering upon the nursing practice”.

Registration for new nurses shall require the following: duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, current Community Tax Certificate (cedula), 2 pieces passport size picture (colored with white background and complete name tag), 1 piece 1” x 1” picture (colored with white background and complete name tag), 2 sets of metered documentary stamps and 1 short brown envelope with name and profession and to pay the Initial Registration Fee of P600 and Annual Registration Fee of P450 for 2012-2015. Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
